What is BuddyFund?

BuddyFund is a social media app that helps people share their stories, connect with their communities, and receive support from others.

 

How does BuddyFund work?

Users can create posts, share what matters to them, and receive support from people who want to contribute. Users can also discover posts from others and support their communities.

 

How do I create a post?

Create an account, tap the option to create a new post, add your story and details, and share it with your community.

 

How do I receive donations?

To receive donations, you must complete Stripe Connect setup. Once your payment account is connected, supporters can contribute to your posts.

 

How do I donate to someone?

Tap the Donate button on the desired post, enter the amount you would like to contribute, and follow the payment steps.

 

Why can't I donate to some posts?

A user must complete their payment account setup before they can receive donations. Posts from users who have not completed setup will not accept donations yet.

 

How are payments processed?

Payments are securely processed through Stripe. BuddyFund does not store your full payment card information.

 

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, select "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions to receive a reset code.

 

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account, go into your account settings, click "Email, Password, and Security", hit the "Delete Account" button and follow the instructions.

 

How do I report inappropriate content?

You can report posts or users directly through the app. Reports are reviewed to help maintain a safe community.
