Child Safety Standards

BuddyFund is committed to maintaining a safe community. BuddyFund does not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation of minors, or any other activity that harms or endangers children.

These Child Safety Standards apply to all users, content, and interactions on BuddyFund.

 

Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users may not use BuddyFund to:

  • Create, upload, request, share, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

  • Sexually exploit, abuse, or endanger a child.

  • Groom or solicit a child for sexual purposes.

  • Share sexual content involving minors.

  • Facilitate the trafficking, exploitation, or abuse of children.

  • Attempt to arrange sexual contact with a minor.

  • Engage in any other conduct involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.

 

Violations may result in immediate removal of content, suspension or termination of an account, and reporting to appropriate authorities when required by law.

 

Reporting Child Safety Concerns

 

BuddyFund provides users with an in-app reporting feature that can be used to report users or content that violates our policies.

If you encounter content or behavior that you believe involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it through the BuddyFund app or contact us directly:

Reports involving child safety are taken seriously and will be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

 

Handling Child Sexual Abuse Material

BuddyFund strictly prohibits CSAM. When BuddyFund becomes aware of suspected or confirmed CSAM, we may remove the content, restrict or terminate the associated account, preserve relevant information when appropriate, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

Confirmed CSAM will be reported to the appropriate authority, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.

Cooperation With Authorities

BuddyFund will cooperate with law enforcement and appropriate child-safety organizations when required by applicable law.

We will provide information to appropriate authorities when legally required or when necessary to protect users and children from abuse or exploitation.

 

Enforcement

Violations of these Child Safety Standards may result in:

  • Removal of content

  • Account suspension

  • Permanent account termination

  • Reporting to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities when required

BuddyFund reserves the right to take action against accounts or content that violate these standards.
